Some people believe that psychics can foretell future events. While they may not always be right, many of their predictions are accurate.
For example, in 2019 international television psychic medium Craig Hamilton-Parker predicted President Donald Trump would be impeached. This was an incredibly bold prediction, but it did come true.
Jeane Dixon
Jeane Dixon was one of the most famous psychics of the 20th century. Her syndicated newspaper astrology column, television appearances and best-selling book helped make her a household name. She was a Roman Catholic who believed that she had been blessed with a gift from God.
She began receiving prophetic visions when she was nine years old, and by the age of fourteen she was predicting the futures of Hollywood stars. Her beliefs in reincarnation and the Tibetan lama tradition also gave her credibility.
In 1956, she wrote in PARADE magazine that a Democrat would be elected US president in 1960 but that he would die in office, possibly by assassination. Her prediction became famous and she was soon a syndicated columnist, delivering horoscopes and advice to millions of people.
It was her prediction of John Kennedy’s assassination that made her famous and earned her the title “The Seeress of Washington” and the most sought-after psychic in America. During her career she claimed to have given readings to more than one president, including Ronald Reagan and Richard Nixon.
Many of her predictions were well known, but a large number of her more dramatic ones never came to pass. Her followers regarded her predictions as proof of her powers, but some critics disagreed.
Another controversial aspect of her life was the year she was born, arguing that she was born in 1910 or 1904, not 1918 as most people believed. She remained very secretive about her birth date, but on at least one occasion she provided the 1910 date as part of a legal inquiry.
Her proximity to the White House during the administrations of Republican presidents Richard Nixon and Ronald Reagan is also thought to have influenced United States foreign and domestic policies, though it is unclear if she actually carried out her predictions.
Some of her more dramatic predictions did come to pass, but a great many others were wrong or simply out of context. Her most memorable claims include that a dispute over the islands of Quemoy and Matsu in 1958 would trigger World War III, that American labor leader Walter Reuther would run for president in 1964, that Canadian Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau’s first child was a boy, and that the Soviets would be the first to put men on the moon.
Edgar Cayce
The story of Edgar Cayce, a Kentucky tobacco farmer and the eponymous prophet, reveals an intriguing turn-of-the-century American figure. His claims of supernatural powers are sensational, but they are also believable.
In 1889, while reading the Bible in the woods, 12-year-old Cayce allegedly saw a winged woman who promised to answer his prayers. A devout Christian, he remained faithful to the Church of Christ throughout his life.
He also drew on his experience in the Bible to write his books, including the famous Book of Dreams and The Book of Inspiration. The occult topics Cayce discussed in his readings were far from limited to medical diagnoses: He spoke of ancient civilizations, reincarnation, karma, the use of numerology, astrology and the mystical city of Atlantis.
As a result, the spiritual ideas that ran through his readings became an integral part of the dawning New Age movement. In his readings, Cayce drew on a rich vein of occult wisdom that was both intriguing and emotionally compelling to people who sought his guidance.
His trance readings expanded in the 1920s to include “life readings” that explored a person's inner conflicts and needs, often employing references to astrology, karma, reincarnation, number symbolism, and the story of mythical civilizations like Atlantis. The mystical elements in his readings, which he claimed were the product of “a Higher Power,” prompted some religious traditionalists to object.
But the trance work also opened Cayce to the possibility of a career as an esoteric philosopher, and he began to collaborate with a wealthy printer, Arthur Lammers. These meetings, and the philosophical discussions that followed, led to a significant expansion of Cayce's work and an interest in metaphysical topics in the American public.
The most compelling aspect of Kirkpatrick's biography is the way it conveys a sense of Cayce as a religious traditionalist struggling to come to terms with the occult elements that figured so prominently in his readings. This struggle is captured in an especially effective chapter that details Cayce's trance-related explorations with Lammers.
The Cayce Archives in Virginia Beach, Virginia, house the transcriptions of more than 170,000 of his psychic readings. The voluminous material can be overwhelming, but Kirkpatrick manages to bring it to life in an engaging and meticulous manner. As a result, this book is an excellent introduction to the many fascinating aspects of Cayce's life and career.
Craig Hamilton-Parker
Dubbed the ‘new Nostradamus', psychic Craig Hamilton-Parker is known for predicting major events such as the corona virus pandemic, Brexit and even Donald Trump becoming US president. She also predicts a number of events that are likely to happen in the future, such as a revolution in North Korea and the death of Queen Elizabeth II.
She has a knack for making accurate predictions, and in the last few years her predictions have been more than accurate. She has foretold the death of Queen Elizabeth and that someone would throw an egg at her son King Charles.
Her latest predictions are very scary, with her claiming that the world will be facing food shortages by 2023 and a revolution in China. She has also predicted that one of the royal family will be involved in a tragic accident, and a chemical weapons attack by drones on a European capital.
In the past, Craig has thrown out a number of other worrying predictions, including a revolution in North Korea that overthrows Kim Jong-un and the death of Queen Elizabeth. She has also foretold a number of other events that are sure to take place in the future, such as the death of President Joe Biden, the death of Prince Harry and an attempted impeachment of Donald Trump.
But the biggest prediction that Craig has made is that a new World War 3 could break out in 2023. She believes that this will not happen as a result of war, but will be a natural reaction to global warming and the lack of energy supplies.
According to her, this new war will be fought in the Middle East, and it will not be a conventional one. It will be more like a war of attrition.
The situation in Ukraine has reached a very dangerous point, as the country is being invaded by Russia. However, despite this, psychic Craig Hamilton-Parker has predicted that the invasion will not escalate into World War III as some people fear.
Craig Hamilton-Parker has also foretold that President Putin will eventually be driven out of Ukraine. But he warned that this will not happen in an instant. Instead, it will take around 18 months to two years. In the meantime, Ukrainians will fight like demons to resist the invaders.
Nicolas Aujula
As the holiday season draws to a close, many psychics are predicting what the New Year will bring. Well known clairvoyant Nicolas Aujula, from London, claims she's been having visions about the future since age 17.
She claims she was able to see her past lives as an Egyptian queen, lion and even lived in another galaxy. She's also been able to see events that have occurred in the past, such as the death of President Donald Trump.
In addition to being a clairvoyant, Aujula is a hypnotherapist and past life regression therapist. She uses a technique called hypnosis to help her clients cure their problems at a deep level.
According to her website, she is able to see people's spirit bodies and can predict their futures. Her predictions are usually based on her visions of scenes that she sees in her mind's eye, as if watching a moving TV screen.
She says her visions are rooted in her “gift” of clairvoyance, which she realised at the age of 17. This is a gift that she has been able to use to her advantage and predict everything from celebrity news to political shady deals and even pop culture.
Her predictions for 2023 include a tough year ahead for the royal family, as she foresees a decline in their income and popularity. She also believes King Charles will face health issues that involve his heart or circulation.
However, she says the year will be a happy one for the Queen and her Platinum Jubilee celebrations. She is also confident that Boris Johnson will land on his feet and that the Labour party will grow in strength over the next 12 months.
Psychics often make predictions about the future, but they can't be 100% accurate. They may have a vague idea, but it's up to you to make your own decision.
Nicolas Aujula has been a psychic for more than 30 years and says she can see her own future, as well as the future of others. She claims she has lived a variety of different incarnations, including as a maid, a lion and an Egyptian queen.
